What Makes Venture Crew 399 different?
Our Venture Crew offers not only higher adventure but also the invaluable opportunity for leadership development through its connections with the Troop and Pack. Many of our Venture members volunteer to support our Troop by organizing trips, coordinating our "big trips" every other year, and teaching classes to our younger scouts. Some also dedicate their time to the Pack, serving as den chiefs or participating in campouts to mentor and guide the younger scouts.
By actively engaging in both the Troop and Pack, 399 Crew members play a vital role in strengthening their leadership skills by instructing and supporting the next generation of scouts. They aren't just a separate group; they are integral leaders in all aspects of scouting. Once a part of 399, always a part of 399, and our Crew members continue to deepen their connection to our Troop as they fulfill their leadership roles for the next generation of Crew members.
